Esensten Law Obtains Trial Ruling Saving Client Millions

  

In May 2014, during a lengthy court trial concerning a commercial landlord-tenant contractual relationship, Esensten Law obtained a favorable trial ruling that prevented the plaintiff from seeking damages against Esensten Law's client.  The trial court's ruling will save Esensten Law's commercial landlord client millions of dollars.

 

After Esensten Law presented arguments that the plaintiff's damages were not recoverable as a matter of law, the court decided to hold a separate hearing to determine the issue.  After a lengthy and contentious hearing, the trial court agreed with Esensten Law that the plaintiff was prevented from seeking millions of dollars in lost profit damages from Esensten Law's client.
