Jordan S. Esensten
Jordan Esensten has quickly gained notoriety in the class action realm and has been appointed as class counsel in a number of class action cases in federal and state courts across the country. He is especially experienced in consumer protection class actions, such as automobile defect actions, RICO actions, and false/misleading advertising actions. The class actions prosecuted by Jordan have led to a number of automobile manufacturers and other companies initiating recalls and refunding consumers for moneys expended purchasing defective and/or falsely advertised products. In recognition of the impressive results he has obtained, Jordan has been chosen as a Rising Star by Los Angeles Magazine every year since 2013, an award that is given to only 2.5% of Southern California attorneys under 40 years of age.
Due to his superior writing skills Jordan has won appeals at the state and federal appellate levels. He has argued before the California Court of Appeal, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and other appellate courts across the country. As a result of his impressive accomplishments, Jordan was invited to attend, and graduated from, the prestigious Jack Daniels LA-ABOTA Trial School.
Education:
Jordan received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Organization from the University of Miami in 2006, and went on to graduate with honors from Southwestern Law School near the top of his class, twice receiving the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award for Evidence and Civil Pretrial Practice. In law school, Jordan was an editor for the Southwestern Law Journal. His impressive accomplishments earned him a position as judicial extern for the Honorable Consueló B. Marshall, Senior United States District Court Judge, Central District of California.
